Bio: I was born an atheist--like all other humans--and never saw a good reason to change my mind. I earned a Bachelor's degree from Hobart College and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Boston University. I conducted fieldwork in Aboriginal Australia for two years and teach anthropology in Denver. I have published two books on atheism ("Natural Atheism" and "Atheism Advanced," both with American Atheist Press) as well as four books on anthropology ("From Culture to Ethnicity to Conflict," "Violence and Culture," "Introducing Anthropology of Religion," and "Cultural Anthropology: Global Forces, Local Lives."
